Today we took a drive to Seminole Canyon located along Rio Grande near Del Rio.  The fields along the drive are quite open and dry with random fields full of sheep and goats.

Early canyon dwellers left clues to their lives on the stone walls.  The pictographs tell their stories.   There are 10 miles of trails and today we walked two of them.  The stairs were very steep in some parts.  This was quite a challenge for me but I did it.

After a heavy rainfall, it is common to have 15 feet deep water rushing through this canyon  into the Rio Grande.

If you are living with ailments or physical challenges…do not let them define who you are.  All things are possible.  It just might take you longer.
