We went back to the historical section of the island today. This is the Jekyll Island Faith Church. Inside are original Tiffany stained glass.
We also saw a few more of the cottages that were built for the elite in the late 1800’s early 1900’s. These were built for the richest of the rich after they decided the clubhouse wasn’t enough and they wanted their own “cottages”.
This one was our favorite…love the outdoor fireplace.
This is Andrew’s beach. While standing on the observation deck, Tat and I saw a dolphin swimming about 10 feet from the shore line. It was exciting for both of us to know it was so close.
This is Glory beach.
At low tide, we both walked right into the ocean. You can see the shore line way in the background. We were amazed at how clean the bottom was.
Today was “treat” day for us. We had lunch at Tortuga Jack. The food and the service were both excellent.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
