On The Island

I started my day with this little guy joining me in the shower.  He hung out behind the taps the whole time and was still there when I came back to get his picture.

We attended a service this morning at the Jekyll Island Baptist Church.  What a friendly group of people.  They could not have made us feel more welcome.  We joined them for their potluck lunch after the service.  We were able to donate two bags of items that will be given to sailors.

We ventured onto driftwood beach…appropriately named.  This beach is incredible. We have never seen anything like it.  The pictures can’t possibly do justice to what a marvel this is to witness.

These rocks can be found all over the beach…they are covered in shells.

Wow…this is the closest we have come to something that looks like snow.

Ride a horse along the beach…or stroll the pier.  Many fishermen can be seen along this pier.  We witnessed a bird dive into the water, come out with a large fish in it’s mouth and devour it.

Jeremiah 32:27  I am the Lord, the God of all mankind.  Is anything too hard for me?
