Country Roads

We had a rough night last night…lots of noise and people coming right up to the trailer while we were sleeping to comment on how cute it is.  We still managed to put in 741 kms today.

Parkinsons and a moving vehicle do not make for a good photographer.

We spent several hours in Virginia today…it is absolutely breath taking.  I took some photos from the van but they don’t do it’s beauty any justice.  I just had to share.

We were driving through Virginia and I was taking it all in thinking about how blessed I am.  Just then, we drove by a fenced in patch of grass that had on it one small tree, a cross and Jesus in large red and white letters.  We are not alone.

I saw these and thought my little friends might appreciate these…what a great idea.

We are spending the night at a Flying J truck stop.  Hopefully tonight we will get a good sleep.

Meet Roy Hicks.  Roy has been living on the streets for the past eight months.  He is the first recipient of a backpack.

Psalm 96:11-12  Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad;  let the sea resound, and all that is in it.  Let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them; let all the trees of the forrest sing for joy.

  3. You two are such an inspiration to me and to many others as well, I’m sure. I was overcome with emotion when I saw the picture of Tat and Roy and read that he was the first recipient of a back pack. May God richly bless you for seeking His will and showing the love of Jesus to hurting people. Love and Prayers go out to you.
